Launched in 2003 by Ken Estes, Granddaddy Purple is a famous indica cross between Purple Urkle and Big Bud. This Californian breed inherits a complex grape and berry flavor from its Purple Urkle nut, while Big Bud genetics gives it huge buds.
Its powerful effects lead to a fusion of cerebral euphoria and physical relaxation. Like most heavy Indica strains, Granddaddy Purple is usually taken off the shelves for consumers who struggle with pain, stress, insomnia, loss of appetite and muscle spasms.
The Grandyddy Purple brings huge returns. It can absorb a lot of phosphorus in the flower which causes its buds to explode. She is very very thirsty too. In the breeding room low temperatures are recommended and she needs a lot of fresh air.
