Gorilla Glue # 4 is currently one of the hottest clones ever, and this is hardly surprising as it is a strain that sets itself apart from both in cultivation and smoking.
Originally from the crossroads of Chem Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel, the Seeds66 release came out of two hand-picked varieties of Gorilla Glue # 4 that we got from America. In California, it was made into a wonderful feminized strain by our gardener Harry Pale.
Gorilla Glue # 4, which shows a slight sativa dominance, is strong in growth, so a vegetation period of 3-4 weeks is usually sufficient for indoor growth. The plants will produce many secondary branches, a property that makes them very good for growing in the SCROG technique to maximize yields.
The flowering is fast and takes just over 9 weeks to achieve a very heavy harvest, which can reach 600g per m2 indoors. Despite its dense buds, the GG # 4 has no problems with mold and is quite resistant to fungal attack.
The outstanding feature of GG # 4, however, is its rich resin production, which can not be compared with other varieties. During flowering, a white trichome layer develops, making it ideal for resin recovery, delivering THC levels of up to 30%.
