This back cross has brought the Warrior line away from the skunky smells back to the fruity mango sweetness. The Mango has been strengthened with the addition of the Warrior F3 males. 2/100 males were selected for this backcross. The 2 males (MK03 - MK06) were very similar in all aspects, including colors which ranged (outdoors) from yellow thru orange and into various reds on both males. Flowering times will be 55+ days, even indoors there will be some plants that show colors. This backcross has not been tested outside, harvest times are unknown, the mango will go until Oct 10 and the Warrior F3 is closer to Sept 15. These will be large plants when grown outdoors and yields could be very good.
